The mobile phone is an indispensable instrument today; however its popularity has been a very recent phenomenon. At first, the mobile phone could only be used in vehicles by size, then reduced to a portable unit , and finally to pocket size we use today. But the phone itself is only a small part of a larger telephone system .Surely all who are reading this have a mobile phone and also can bet they have it on the table or in your pockets and your breathing for a second. But who is to blame for today 's Western civilization is addicted to these devices ?

The first mobile phone was developed by Motorola on 17 October 1973. More specifically was the engineer Martin Cooper , who gave life to this glorious invention.

Cooper called the first mobile phone , Dyna - Trac. This weighed about one kilogram and its battery lasted only about 35 minutes.
